National Great Rivers Museum

Operated by the Army Corps of Engineers, The National Great Rivers Museum is located on the banks of the Mississippi River at the Melvin Price Lock & Dam. The project was funded in part by the Meetings of the Rivers Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of scenic waterways.

THE BLUFFS

The 3 dimensional Bluffs exhibit is an interactive display that engulfs the visitor in the habitat along the mighty Mississippi River. The visitor can experience first-hand the wildlife and all the flora and fauna native to the river bluffs. All this plus interactive activities makes for a fun, informative experience.
