Fort Trumbull State ParkSince Colonial times Fort Trumbull has served as the location of various military forts, schools and research facilities for the United States Army, Coast Guard and Navy. The first Fort Trumbull was built to protect the New London Harbor from British attack and later served as part of the countrys coastal defense system. The third and final fort to be constructed on the site still stands today.HISTORICAL MODELSUSA created multiple representations of the historic Fort as it appeared since before the American Revolution. This included the fabrication of highly detailed replicas created to reflect each time period and the face of the fort and surrounding areas. Each landscape was created using topographically sculpted foam coated in resin then fully landscaped and painted. USA provided these and several other elements to the museum to create a unique journey into the past, present and future of Fort Trumbull.Exhibit Development Team: Client: Fort Trumbull State Park Design: Studio Design Engineering & Fabrication: USA General Contractor: USA |
