The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum

The Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum (NASM) maintains the largest collection of historic air and spacecraft in the world. It is also a vital center for research into the history, science, and technology of aviation and space flight. USA is proud to have been given the chance to develop the first major interactive exhibit gallery within this museum.

HOW THINGS FLY GALLERY

USA worked with the museum’s staff to develop 10 interactive exhibit work stations placed throughout the gallery. These focused on the basic principles of flight: how rockets work in a vacuum, water flow tunnels, and wind tunnels were just a few of the exhibits fabricated and installed at the facility.
