Sci-Port Discovery Museum

Sci-Port Discovery Centers new 67,000 square foot facility opened in 1998. The museum provides an educational and entertaining environment for people of all ages to explore and actively participate in the world of science and technology. Located on the Shreveport/Bossier downtown river-front, the museum offers visitors more than 200 interactive experiences.

INTERACTIVE EXHIBITS

USA fabricated and installed the final two galleries of this multi-phased project effort. Many of the museums interactive exhibits were fabricated and installed by USA including a powerful air cannon and a counter weight with a real 500 lb engine block. Visitors were also invited to explore simple geometry with the over sized Tinker Toy play place.
