Independence Seaport Museum

Located along Philadelphia’s waterfront on Penn’s Landing, Independence Seaport Museum examines the events, people and technologies that shaped the history of the Delaware River, Bay and its tributaries. Through permanent exhibitions; Home Port Philadelphia, Boats Float, Divers of the Deep, and On the Shores: Small Craft of the Delaware River Valley, Independence Seaport Museum explores all aspects of maritime history, from commercial shipping and shipbuilding to navigation, immigration, defense, outdoor recreation, the environment and underwater exploration.

LONG TERM COMMITMENT

In 1993, when it was time for the Seaport Museum to overhaul their exhibits, they called on USA. We supported several realistic environments relating to the nautical theme. We also created all of the interactive exhibits including an operating scale crane, a welding demonstration station and simulated fishing for native species. Since 1994, USA has cost effectively supported the maintenance of the museum’s interactive and media exhibits. Our routine monthly maintenance has kept the Independent Seaport Museum up and running consistently for over 10 years.
