KieranTimberlake Cellophane House Model

KieranTimberlake utilized Universal Services accomplished and detailed model work in the competition phase of the MoMA Home Delivery project to create a 3/16 = 1 scale model of the house from clear acrylic. We CNC milled our parts after engineering the individual model components walls, floors, and support structures - in CAD. The result is a custom model kit, which our skilled craftsmen assemble by hand. In the case of the Cellophane House model, quality glue joinery was essential; the clear surfaces needed to be kept clean for the gem-like effect of the model to really shine.
